BEWARE OF OTHER DRIVING SCHOOLS:
The automobile is the number one killer of teenagers in the nation. Choosing a TOP NOTCH driving school for your teenager can provide defensive (space management) skills that could possibly SAVE your child's life. Yet, many students want the easiest, quickest, least demanding driving school available. It is almost criminal that some driving schools teach only the bare essential skills necessary to pass MVA's driving course that lasts 8-12 minutes.
As a result, some driving schools provide only minimal training. They keep the student on a parking lot for hours. Require the student to log in drive time with the parent/mentor before they can go out on the road in a driver’s ed. car. According to their logic, this way if the student has a fender bender it would be in your car instead of the driver’s ed car. Isn’t this the main reason you are sending your child to a driving school – to teach your student the fundamentals before the student gets behind the wheel of your car. Limits total mileage per student from ten to twenty miles (saves gas money and miles on the odometer). Some schools overload vehicles with three or four students (make sure those hours driven with other student is not accidentally used to calculate your student’s six hours behind the wheel). Beware of schools that always assign your student to a different dr. ed teacher. Instructors who fail to show up for a drive time. Avoid driving schools that tell you that expressway driving is a higher-level skill that must be taught by you! What a disservice!

As previously stated Mr. B has been training drivers for over 33 years as well as holds a master’s equivalent degree in traffic safety from Towson State University.
