If you have dial-up Internet access, a slow computer, or otherwise cannot get the application to load, you may wish to try downloading the application to the desktop before opening it. This can be done by right-clicking (Windows) or control-clicking (Macintosh) on the appropriate link and choosing "Save Target to Disk" or "Download Link to Disk". If the application still refuses to load, please try uninstalling your current version of Adobe Reader and downloading and installing a new version using the link in the next paragraph.
Please note that Adobe [Acrobat] Reader is required to open the file, unless you are using Mac OS X, in which the file may open with Preview. If you don't have Adobe Reader, you can download it at:
