About the Driver's Education Course:

Driver’s Training consists of (6) six hours of actual behind-the-wheel training (MVA requirement) in our late model dual brake vehicles. The behind the wheel training sessions are conducted in three two-hour lessons. The State of Maryland also requires thirty (30) hours of classroom instruction. In addition, MVA mandates sixty (60) additional hours with a parent/mentor before the student can obtain a provisional license. (Mr. B recommends at least another 40 -70 hours in order to reduce the potential of accidents or injuries!

Suggestions: Some of these additional hours can be driven AFTER  the student obtains their provisional license.(i.e.) downtown traffic, driving on the beltway, merging at complicated ramps known as “weave lanes” or “ramps with yield signs saying “no merge”, rush hour traffic and a practice drive on a parking lot after the first snow, etc. Remember, airline pilots must log additional flight hours each year to maintain their pilot’s license.
